Shepherd Inn Ohio is organized and operated for educational and charitable purposes.  

The objectives of  Shepherd Inn, Ohio are:

1. To provide educational training to the community as it relates to housing, real estate development, and mentoring others to succeed in their expertise.
2. To provide a community alternative to homelessness by developing, building, and managing low and medium-income housing, group homes and assisted living facilities focused on underserved communities in the Miami Valley, Ohio.
3. To coordinate with housing providers, healthcare organizations, and social service providers.
4. Promoting equity.
5. Promoting community integration for persons with disabilities.
6. Help the Miami Valley face the challenges of unmet housing needs.
7. Coordinating re-entry programs with affordable housing.
